Welcome to the Club
Born from and inspired by the vibrant spirit of Austin we celebrate the quirky, the thoughtful, and the relatable through custom graphics on casual and comfortable apparel. Offering a collection of clothing that’s as unique as our city, each piece is designed to ignite conversation, evoke nostalgia, or simply make you smile.
Comfy Clothes
Here at AUC, we believe that clothing is more than just a commodity: it’s a canvas for comfort and daily expression. Our range of name-brand tees, tank tops, crop tops, long sleeves, sweatshirts, and hoodies are offered at different fabric weights and blends so that you can find the item that best fits your wants and needs.
Thoughtful Designs
Our designs blend whimsy with depth, capturing the essence of Austin’s eclectic culture. From silly graphics that bring about a laugh, or thoughtful references that resonate, we’ve got something for you.
Smiling at Loved Ones
Beyond clothing and creative expression, AUC believes in liberal-a$$ agendas like equality for all and autonomy for women’s bodies; and in non-political sh*t like not jumping to conclusions or assumptions, but encouraging dialogue and understanding; listening before speaking; rooting for the underdog, or the home team (whichever you’re feeling in the moment); and helping ourselves and others to feel appreciated and seen in a world that’s hard enough; finding joy in the small things; that offering the crow’s feet of your smile is an act of charity; and that being gentle is often harder than being tough, but that it's usually worth the effort.
Meet the Founder: Mason Merrill
Mason is the originator and creative force behind Austin Unicorn Club and its dedication to celebrating silliness and thoughtful design. Raised on the waters of Barton Springs and a proud graduate of Zilker Elementary class of '94, he nostalgically remembers the Austin of yesterday and celebrates the Austin of today, drawing inspiration from the city’s vibrant culture and unique spirit. With a passion for design and a knack for capturing relatable moments, Mason believes that clothing should be comfortable, versatile, and relatable. When not ruining his posture in front of the computer or spending time with his wife, newborn daughter and family, you can find him fumbling with his camera, getting crossed over on the court, or watching Better Call Saul intently for the 17th time.
